Are you ready to further your scuba education and learn and sample a variety of specialties? Advanced Open Water is great fun and no exams! There are five dives you will do over two days. On the Deep Dive you will go to a maximum of 100 feet, and learn how colors change at depth, and the effects of pressure on objects. You will have a lot of fun as learn! Underwater Navigation will expand on the compass skills you learned in your Open Water class. Then you and your instructor will choose the other three Adventure dives to do. Do you want to be a better dive buddy, and learn skills to prevent or manage a problem in the water?
The PADI Rescue Diver course is the most challenging, and rewarding scuba course for students that have taken the course. Not only will you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, but knowing that you can help others if needed.
This is a two-day course where you will learn and practice problem management and problem prevention skills in the pool, and then out to the open water to apply the rescue skills, to real life scenarios. The Knowledge Development portion can either be done online in PADI Rescue Diver Online, or we can mail the Rescue Diver Manual to you prior to your trip to complete the independent study. You will meet with your instructor to review the Knowledge Development portion and take an exam. Contact us to see which option is best for you. Also, if you are not current (within the last 24 months) on Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (First Aid and CPR) we can do this 4-hour course concurrently with the Rescue Diver course. The PADI Divemaster course is one of the most rewarding and fun courses you will enroll in.The Divemaster course builds on skills learned in the Rescue Diver program and is the first level of becoming a dive professional. It also prepares the individual for personal interaction with students and certified divers By being a good role model, showing good diving practices including safety, good buoyancy control, and being an ambassador to protect the marine environment. Specialty Deep Diver:Want to go deeper? How about 130 feet, the recreational sport diver limit. We can take you down there and show you the effects of pressure on objects, how much quicker you breathe through your air, and what to do if you feel gas narcosis. Would you like to learn about Caribbean fish habitats, their common names and how to recognize different fish shapes and colors? We will go through a pocket Reef® Fish book before the dives and you will be surprised by the end of the second scuba dive how many of the fish you can name on your slate. Once you have read 3 chapters of the PADI Open Water Diver Manual and complete some Knowledge Reviews and quizzes, we will teach you how to assemble and disassemble your gear. Next we will spend a couple hours teaching you skills on scuba in Confined Water (Pool or pool-like conditions).
You can get started immediately with the knowledge development portion of the course, and work at your own pace using the PADI eLearning® system. This convenient, interactive study option allows you to learn anytime and anywhere you have an internet connection. Another option is PADI Open Water Touch™ which adds the ease and convenience of tablet-based learning, allowing you to access the PADI Open Water Diver Manual, videos and other content while offline. (You will, however, need an internet connection to complete quizzes and to submit Knowledge Reviews.) 
We can mail Manual to you prior to your trip to complete the independent study. You will meet with your instructor to review the Knowledge Development portion. No exams in this course!
